Thank you so much for supporting my blog.  I do hope you like the look that I created.  I was inspired by the picture below of Vanessa Williams in her character as Wilhelmina Slater on Ugly Betty. 

I always find myself admiring Vanessa's make-up.  I may not have her striking blue eyes but I'm rather fond of my baby brown ones :-) 

I think Vanessa Williams is one of the lucky few that just gets more beautiful with each passing year.

15% off Bobbi Brown /Dior /Illamasqua /Smashbox /Origins etc

In case you fancied something from one of these brands and have been holding off, now maybe a good time to buy or better yet get someone else to buy it for you :-)

In Debenhams online in the UK they are currently having 15% off beauty products, which includes Estee Lauder, Illamaqua etc which expires 12 December 2010 but excludes Chanel and some concessions may not be participating.  Free standard delivery is availabe until December, not international orders though sorry.

John Lewis are having a price match promotion too! I've spotted they are offering 15% discount on Estee Lauder and Bobbi Brown which is brilliant as Debenhams don't stock Bobbi Brown.  They may well be other brands discounted but I'm afraid you'll have to search around the site to find out.  Standard delivery is free for orders over £30.

Also, don't forget to buy via a cashback website to earn money on the money you spend, I always use Topcashback site it's free and Debenhams currently have a special 5.05% cashback rate, which ends tomorrow so you could get 20% off, although cashback is never guaranteed, I've never had any probs getting paid out from Debenhams.

How to get Mac Free Standard Delivery

Hi there everyone,

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend and a very warm welcome to my new followers.

In case you don't know, if you go on http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/ and use the EMAIL AN ARTIST option on the bottom left hand site of the home page, ask them anything you would like advice on and when they reply by email to you, at the bottom of the email there will be an option to click on a link to complete a short survey and get free standard delivery for doing so.

When I say short I mean it, talking seconds here, approx six clicks, your choice to type in more details if you like.  I just added that I would like them to make it easier for non pro Mac customers to purchase pro products.  I left quite a detailed but polite message.  Just makes good business sense to me, happy customers and more sales!  What's not to like!?!

As soon as you finish the survery your free delivery code comes up, make sure to note it down and the expiration date, usually valid for 3 months.

These codes come in really handy when I want to get hold of the pro pan blush and/or eyeshadow refills, which I can't get at my nearest counter.
